Our Biodiversity Primer is a 1-hour session designed for boards of directors, management teams, and sustainability departments. It includes a 30-minute presentation on what biodiversity is, why it’s important for businesses, which sectors are most exposed, and how companies can address biodiversity challenges. It also explains how to comply with leading ESG reporting frameworks on biodiversity. The remaining time is set aside for Q&A to ensure relevance for your business’ specific context.
For a deeper dive, the presentation can be combined with a 1-hour tailored workshop focused on your company’s unique challenges.
If your company later chooses to enter one of our baselining processes, the cost of the primer will be deducted from the total price.

Who is it for?
Our biodiversity primer is a 1-hour presentation and Q&A session targeted to businesses that biodiversity as an upcoming strategic issue but want to understand how and when it will affect them.
The primer explains in plain business terms the biodiversity basics that management and boards should have to be able to:
- Make an informed decision on whether or not to engage with the biodiversity agenda and
- Explain that choice to stakeholders.
What will you gain from the training?
You will be able to answer the questions:
- Why is biodiversity relevant to business?
- What are likely impacts of this on your company?
If you choose to add the workshop tailored to your business, you will be able to additionally account for:
- What specific challenges are most pressing for you to understand?
- What actions are you planning to tackle those?
What will you learn?
It’s easy. Simply contact us and we will set you up. We will ask some background questions to ensure business relevance, but apart from that we are good to go, as soon as we agree on a date.
If you want to add a workshop session, we will suggest a 1-hour premeeting with company staff to tailor the workshop to your business’ specific situation.
The cost covers:
- 1 hour executive briefing session
- Access to presentation slides after session
- Transport cost in greater Copenhagen area
